MUSIC at the Brush Art Gallery

Bottom of the Bottle, ULowell Punk Band
Piracy, a young Lowell-area band, and a true throwback to the golden era of Punk Rock. Their stage show is peppered with covers of The Clash, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, and Operation Ivy,and they are sure to deliver a performance that sounds, looks, and feels like good old Punk Rock!
PRIZES AND FILM at the National Park Visitor Center
7:00–7:15 After the Punk show,  Destination World will host the Punk Rock Fashion Contest! The competition is open to anyone, and First, Second, and Third cash prizes will be awarded to contestants with the most creative, wild, and unique PUNK ROCK outfit.
7:15–8:45 PUNK:ATTITUDE: A film by Don Letts
Punk:Attitude takes a highly original look at the Punk Rock movement. This film identifies the roots of this tradition from America to the U.K. and beyond showing that Punk was not just
a musical movement but an attitude of mind.

The much acclaimed, internationally known folk duo, Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly present delightful programs of traditional American, English, and Celtic folk music and dance.

600–7:00 Together in Time: a Film by Steve Alves

Together in Time is a prize winning twenty-seven minute documentary film about New England Contra music and dance... it tells the story of "the dance that refused to end.”

COOL Corner Gallery: See the art of Sharron Penicaud: Her work includes mixed media on linen and canvas to produce richly–textured evocative images.
Friends Fabric Art: Create your own William Morris Silk Flower Ornaments. Hang finished silk ornaments in a window for a beautiful stained glass look!

Movie ratings will be indicated at each venue.  You must be 17 or older to be admitted to an R-rated film without a parent or guardian.
